May 3, 2001: The first Kings County Observance prayer breakfast was held at 7:00 a.m., in the parking lot of The Remington retirement facility in Hanford and did not have a key note speaker. Due to low response and (very) cold weather, it was decided a luncheon would be the goal for 2002.
May 2, 2002: The second Kings County Observance prayer luncheon was held in the Hanford Salvation Army multi-purpose room. With an overflowing response from the community, we knew a larger venue would be needed for 2003.
2003-present: With great anticipation and excitement for what the Lord was doing in our community, we moved the luncheon to the Hanford Civic Auditorium to accommodate our praying community! We are grateful for the Lord's guidance and provision and what He continues to do every year. Great is His faithfulness!
